Welcome to the GPA PO
Our Purpose and Mission
All parents and/or guardians of students currently enrolled at Glendale Preparatory Academy are members of the school’s Parent Organization. We are a community of parent volunteers that provides a support system to enrich our student’s academic experience. We volunteer our time in service, facilitate communication, administer social activities, and raise funds as needed, to benefit and support the GPA faculty and administration who are working to provide the best educational experience for our children.

News & Announcements
Griffin Games: Where will you be Saturday, March 27, 2010? Plan now to be part of the biggest school event of the year!!! Whether you have one hour or many to help – there is a place for you. We will be sponsoring various activities representing: Athletics, Academics and Art. This is a great day and you will not want to miss it. Volunteering is a great way to connect with other parents and make it a really memorable event. Please contact Sandy Gallo at sandygallo@cox.net or 623-640-7040 with any questions or to volunteer!
**WE NEED FOR THE GAMES**
Empty coffee cans with lids (tin or plastic will work)
Large Empty Clear Plastic containers with lids (like those from Sam’s/Costco with pretzels in them)
You can place items on the PO Credenza in the front office. Thank you and watch here for additional items.
Lunch Order: Attached is the lunch order form due Monday, February 8th.
GPA PO Family Social: Come to the campus Friday, February 19th and enjoy an evening of board games and food. This social is a great time to let your competitive side out and challenge your family and friends to some fun. Mark your calendar now and watch your weekly email blast for further details.
Upcoming Restaurant Night: February 16th (Tuesday) is the night to plan a meal at Paradise Bakery and Café. This is always a great evening so plan to come join the fun – watch for flyer and details of contests for this fun evening.
8th Grade Promotion: In just a few short months we will promote our second class of eighth grade students into Glendale Prep’s Upper School. If you would like to volunteer to help out with this milestone event, please contact Mrs. Joy Hodesh by email at jhodesh@hotmail.com and let her know. This committee will begin meeting next month and would love to have you involved.
