2011-2012 Winter Sports
Parents and Players:
I am happy to announce and provide some details about our sports informational meetings for the Winter Season.
For High School Boys and Girls Basketball, and High School Boys and Girls Soccer; practices will begin on Monday, October 24. You should have already been in contact with your coaches about locations and times.
For Middle School Boys and Girls Soccer, as well as Middle School Baseball and Softball, we will be meeting in rooms 15 and 16 on Tuesday, October 25, at 3:30pm. All players interested must be present, or please contact Mr. Rickey. Parents are encouraged to attend as well. Practices for all Middle School sports begin on Tuesday, November 1. Soccer practices will be at Deem Hills Park (51st Ave. north of Happy Valley). Baseball and Softball practices will be at Victory Lanes (43rd Ave. and Pinnacle Peak).
The cost for each Middle School sport is $150, per player, with an additional $15 for all baseball players to cover the costs of their hats that they will be able to keep following the season. Please make checks out to Glendale Preparatory Academy, and bring all monies with you to the meetings.
Additionally, if you have not participated in a sport this year, you will need to fill out the Parent Consent Form, the Emergency Contact Form, and the Physical Parts A and B to be eligible to participate.
